Okej, tillbaka från böckerna! Tydligen är evolutionsteorin inte alls särskilt poppis bland t.ex. svenska vetenskapsmän:

At least, I should hardly be accused of having started from a preconceived antievolutionary standpoint.'"

Tyvärr dog doktor Nilsson 1955, så vi kan inte fråga honom hur han tänkte. Men inte heller Darwin, som annars brukar hållas för en tillskyndare av evolutionsläran, ansåg att läran var särskilt övertygande:
